Anker Nano 45W GaN Charger Charging Test Results
05 Dec,2025
To test the actual performance of Anker Nano 45W GaN charger, Charger Network selected four mobile phones, namely iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, to conduct full-charging tests respectively. The devices were placed in a constant temperature box at 25℃ and connected to a power source, with the test results as follows.

Charging Test for iPhone
When charging iPhone17 with Anker Nano 45W GaN charger (also a high-performance USB C wall charger), the measured power via POWER-Z KM003C was 14.6V 2.23A 32.53W.
After connecting to the power supply, it handshake 15V voltage, with the instantaneous power reaching 34W, then the power dropped to 28W and maintained for 10 minutes, followed by a drop to 27W for 9 minutes. After that, the power dropped four times consecutively. At 36 minutes, this ultra slim charger stabilized at 7W for charging until 56 minutes, then the power began to drop continuously and re-handshake 5V voltage at 1 hour and 8 minutes, with the full charge taking 1 hour and 38 minutes.
Looking at the power curve, it can be seen that 20% of the power was charged in 7 minutes, 50% in 19 minutes, 80% in 21 minutes, and the full charge took 1 hour and 38 minutes.
After testing, Anker Nano 45W GaN charger (a practical Type C charger) passed the ChargerLAB Charging Laboratory’s test of charging iPhone17 to 50% in 20 minutes.
Charging Test for iPhone 17 Pro
When charging iPhone17 Pro with Anker Nano 45W GaN charger (a compact USB C wall charger), the measured power via POWER-Z KM003C was 14.59V 2.31A 33.71W.
After connecting to the power supply, it handshake 15V voltage, with the power climbing to 35W, then dropping to 30W and maintaining for 6 minutes, followed by a drop to 29W for 11 minutes, then to 26W for 5 minutes, and then to 20W for 5 minutes, before dropping to 13W. At 32 minutes, this ultra slim charger reduced power to 7W and maintained until 60 minutes, then the power continued to drop and re-handshake 5V voltage around 1 hour and 6 minutes, with the full charge taking 1 hour and 41 minutes.
Looking at the power curve again, it can be seen that 20% of the power was charged in 7 minutes, 50% in 20 minutes, 80% in 25 minutes, 90% in 60 minutes, and the full charge took 1 hour and 41 minutes.
After testing, Anker Nano 45W GaN charger (a reliable Type C charger) passed the ChargerLAB Charging Laboratory’s test of charging iPhone17 Pro to 50% in 20 minutes.
