To meet rising demand for efficient and portable fast charging, Qihang Chuangshi has unveiled a new 65W retractable GaN charger. Equipped with a 63cm USB-C retractable cable and dual ports (1A1C), both USB-C paths—fixed port and retractable cable—support up to 65W PD fast charging, while the USB-A port delivers 18W QC and 22.5W SCP. This versatile 100W charger-inspired design efficiently powers smartphones and even light laptops.

Smart Digital Display Enhances User Experience

A standout feature is the built-in digital power display above the USB-A port. During charging, it shows real-time output wattage, allowing users to instantly verify if fast charging is active—eliminating “fake fast charge” concerns and boosting confidence in performance, much like premium 100W charger models.

Refined Aesthetics and Practical Details

The black flame-retardant PC housing features a matte finish that resists fingerprints and feels premium. One side displays “GaN” and “65W super charger”; the other lists full specifications. It uses a German-standard plug, with 1A1C ports and the retractable cable neatly arranged on top. The flat cable resists tangling, and its connector includes a blue LED indicator—design cues often seen in high-end 100W charger products.

Broad Fast Charging Protocol Compatibility

Tested with ChargerLAB POWER-Z KM003C, both USB-C ports support QC3+/5, FCP, SCP, AFC, PD3.0, PPS, DCP, and Apple 2.4A. PDO data reveals five fixed profiles (5V3A to 20V3.25A) plus two PPS ranges (5–11V/5A, 5–21V/3.25A), enabling true plug-and-play. The USB-A port supports QC3+, FCP, and SCP—ensuring wide compatibility across brands, rivaling the versatility of a 100W charger.

Internally, the unit comprises a main PCBA module and a separate retractable cable module connected via green wires. The PCBA measures just 55.31 × 42.04 × 20.71 mm. The front integrates a time-delay fuse, common-mode choke, three high-voltage electrolytic capacitors (two 400V/39μF, one 400V/27μF), and a transformer. The back hosts a rectifier bridge, controller IC, optocoupler, Y-capacitor, and synchronous rectifier—all densely packed like in a modern 100W charger.

Premium Components from Industry Leaders

The core uses Joulwatt’s JW1565J GaN integrated chip, combining a 700V/165mΩ GaN transistor and controller in one package. It operates in QR mode for high efficiency and ultra-low standby power. The synchronous rectifier is Joulwatt’s JW7726B. The rectifier bridge (WRMSB60M, 6A/1000V) comes from World Electronics, while compact Y-capacitors from TechRising (TMY1102M/TMY1222M) are widely used in branded 100W charger designs from OPPO, Lenovo, and Nubia.

Robust Safety and EMI Suppression

Front-end protection includes a 3.15A/250V fuse, NTC thermistor (for inrush current suppression), and a 0.33μF X2 safety capacitor. A heat-shrink-wrapped common-mode choke filters EMI effectively. All high-voltage capacitors are from Yunxing Electronics, ensuring reliability. An OR 1009 optocoupler provides precise voltage feedback—features standard in any quality 100W charger.

Lightweight and Travel-Friendly Without Sacrificing Performance

Measuring only 59.11 × 43.05 × 47.43 mm and weighing ～148g, it’s notably smaller than Apple’s 67W adapter. The retractable cable and power display enhance convenience for travelers. Though not a true 100W charger, Qihang Chuangshi’s 65W GaN model delivers premium build quality, safety, and user experience—proving high performance doesn’t require maximum wattage.
